When i was 17, I made this piece depicting my experience as an immigrant. With the current events of everything going on as i grew up, the right side of my hair shows the innocent way I viewed life. Now growing up, I see how things around me were different, but regardless I smile.
 
Cuando tenía 17 años, hice esta pieza que representa mi experiencia como inmigrante. Con los acontecimientos actuales de todo lo que sucede a medida que crecía, el lado derecho de mi cabello muestra la forma inocente en que veía la vida. Mientras crecía, veo cómo las cosas a mi alrededor eran diferentes, pero aún así mantuve mi sonrisa.
